EPITOMISING ART DECO TRADITION
The Reverso’s eye-catching rectangular shape, uncluttered lines and emblematic gadroons are all directly inspired by the Art Deco movement in vogue at the time of its creation. This iconic model is said to have resulted directly from a direct challenge set by a polo-playing British army officer in India back in 1931. To avoid potential damage from mallet blows during matches, the case was designed to swivel in one smooth movement to become a solid back protecting the dial – for which today offers the ideal setting for personalised engraving, setting or enamelling. Six decades later, the unique watchmaking expertise of the Grande Maison inspired the invention of the Duetto/Duo concept enabling the presence of a second dial serving to display a range of additional complications. The perfect accessory for day or evening wear, the Reverso is interpreted through three distinct collections: One, Classic and Tribute.
